Hey there all!

Well, it’s been a long time in the works, but hopefully the period between when camp ended and now has given you an appetite for some memories of this summer! On a side note, I can hardly believe that camp has already been finished for 2 months. I can hardly wait for winter to start…because that means spring will soon be just around the corner, at which point a whole new summer will soon be on the way!

But in the meantime, here’s something to bring a little sun into your life!   WEEK 1 SLIDESHOW!!!   Enjoy! And rest assured, weeks 2-8 will be coming around soon too! Keep your eyes peeled!

Week 8 Newsletter

Hi everyone!

Here we are at week 8! Hard to believe that the summer has winded down so quickly. It seems like just yesterday that this chicken was waving a warm welcome to some of the first cars and buses to arrive at camp on the Monday of week 1… Well, I’ve no doubt that week 8 will be a great finish to our camp season!

It’s mentioned in the newsletter, but just to reiterate, on Friday of this week upcoming, there will be a free pizza lunch provided by the Toronto Star’s Fresh Air Fund. So leave the sandwich boxes or lunchables at home, or if you puchase lunches through Kids’ Kitchen, on Friday you do not need to order a meal. It will be provided!

Lastly, below are the necessary pages for you to peruse so that your children get the most out of camp. There is quite a bit that happens in a week, so please do take a look! All the documents are in PDF format, and can be saved to the computer to be opened with PDF viewing software such as Adobe Reader, which can be downloaded  here.

Greetings to everyone joining us for week 7!

Well, the evenings are becoming a bit cooler and more fall-like, but the weather has been kind in giving us nice warm days that remind us that the summer isn’t quite done yet! And week 7 is going to be a hoot. Wednesday is Green Day, we have the overnight on Thursday, and of course everyone will get better acquainted with mud on Friday when we enjoy the second Mudfest/Icky Sticky Day of the year!

Below are links to the documents you will need for the week ahead. All three are PDF files which will require a program such as Adobe Reader to view.

Hello all,

Well, week 1 of Glenbrook has come and gone, and we started the summer with a bang! The redesigned slip and slide course, mini putt holes, and archery activity have been a hit, and at our first overnight of the year we had a great time. And on Wednesday, there was so much red and white being worn for our “Canada Day” SPIRIT Day that it could probably have been seen from space. Thanks to everybody who came week one and helped us start this summer so well.

On to week two! Below are links to several handy documents to have for this week of camp. The first is a newsletter outlining what we’ll be doing this week, below that are two links to PDFs that you’ll need if you are interested in signing your campers up for our Thursday night overnight. Finally, there is a merchandise form that you can print off, complete, and send with your child to camp. You are also more than welcome to just stop by the camp to get merchandise in person. For all the PDF links below, you can right click them and choose to save the file to your computer hard drive, where you can look them over or print them. Adobe Reader is a useful program for viewing PDFs, if you are unable to open them.

We’ve been counting down the days since last August, and it’s hard to believe that GDC 2011 is just around the corner. Can’t wait to see you all in three short days!

Here are some important links to look over before Monday morning. They are all PDF files, so if you right click them and choose to save them to your hard drive, you can view them with a PDF viewer such as Adobe Reader.
